HAZAAR!!
hazaar! to shelley.
first she gave me my special badge and then she made me do a nine and a half hour shift in ladieswear, where i had a lot of customers who spoke to me in welsh!! it seemed to have opened the floodgates too because for the past three days in the cafe ive had at least one person speak to me in welsh. ive had entire conversations with people. yesterday there were a couple from penyffordd who ive never met and today there was a couple who asked if id gone to maes garmon - welsh language school, so i obv said no and they oh! are you second language? id never have guessed! go me!!
on sunday i had a terrible customer who made me cry and higgy piggy was completely useless.
great news on the holiday front (not long to go) me and his maj were planning to go to the lake district but we had a look to see how much itd cost to go somewhere else, looked on the internet and we're going to france! not many people realise how exciting that is to me! we're going from poole to st malo and the campsite is 20 miles away so not much driving to do. taking the bikes as well. only going for 5 nights but its a start!!
tommorrow im going to pick up my new glasses - none of this finger in the eye business!
his maj is going to lampy on friday to hand in my cheque.
liz, will you ask rachel if shes got my knitting book, i left it in lampy :(
