Mini Stocking Ornaments

I gave the Joy stocking away today to our octogenarian friend. It was my favorite of the three so far, but Rudolph & Santa are cute too. When I snapped the photo, I was in a hurry because I knew I'd probably be giving the Joy one away so I hadn't added the backing to it yet and none of these have the hanging loops, but this is the basic ornament.

Tomorrow I'm giving at least one of the wooden ones away but I'm in the process of finishing them with a gloss & glitter treatment, so they need to dry first.

Speaking of the friend we visited with today--I firmly believe she is getting catfished and she's already smitten with this so-called "general" that she met online so we did our best to discourage her today. She's smart enough to not give pertinent details away, but she's elderly and fast to fall in puppy love and I'm definitely worried about the situation. :(

We will be having a "rav" party--this is the traditional Italian Christmas Soup we celebrate with hubs's family each year. We hand-roll the ravioli (that's what his mom called them, but they are actually tortellini) and with Sharon's heart attack scare and just that we are all getting older, we decided to make it as nostalgiac as possible. So, we will be rolling the ravs on December 3rd and we're also bringing hubs's mom's BBQ as nourishment while the family is working on the ravs.

We'll be going to St. Charles (Missouri) on the 2nd, so it'll be a super busy weekend. Hubs already bought all the ingredients we'll need because we will probably make most everything this weekend and freeze it until the following weekend.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of your week and to my American friends--I hope you'll spend tomorrow with the ones you love and are finding lots of things to be thankful for. xoxo
