Five Things That Made Me Happy Today
1. Lovely dinner out with
slashspouse and the small fanperson, who has been adorable and agreeable this evening. Emphasis on this evening ;).
2. Lunch and game scheming talk with
korafox. Things are definitely Happening-with-a-capital-H, plus I feel like I'm really getting a handle on my character. One of these days, I'll actually write something up about her here ;).
3. I have pretty much done all of the grading I can do to get ready for the end-of-semester deluge.
4. My back, which earlier this week was hurting so badly that I was actually in tears, is barely hurting now. Whatever caused the flare-up, it seems to be letting up.
5. A student stopped by to let me know she had achieved the next step in her education, and that she hoped to send me an academic publication one day. Sometimes, I love my job.
