Some random stuff
1. Thank you SO MUCH for the lovely comments on the love meme thread. They made my day.
2. I am not usually a fan of "commenting to say I'm not commenting," and I don't flatter myself that anyone is wondering what I'm thinking and why I'm not chiming in,but since I've been a big cheerleader for the OTW since the beginning, I suppose it might be appropriate (if a little arrogant):
I'm not commenting on the current controversy simply because I don't know enough about what's going on to have an informed opinion. That is not because I don't think the issues being discussed are important, but just because all the minor health crap this year has kept me...well, self-focused is a kind way of putting it ;). And since I don't see that changing in the next few days (oh, look, there's my cough back again!), I won't be commenting. And given that whole "silence in cyberspace is impossible to read," I just want to be clear: don't read mine as anything other than "I don't have an opinion because I am uninformed on the topic."
3. Speaking of health, please cross your fingers for me, because I am exhibiting the same symptoms I did last year at this time when I had sudden-onset pneumonia. ARG.
