Oh, yeah, and I saw a movie
I did manage to see The Dark Tower. I don't have time/vision/wherewithal for a detailed review, but a short one behind the cut.
Not nearly as good as the trailer led me to hope, not nearly as bad as the early reviews/rankings led me to fear. Glad I saw it, will probably watch it again, but I am not optimistic about getting more movies/miniseries/tv show, and I am really kind of okay with that. Ultimately, I have my books, and nothing can take that from me.
