Happy!
Starting to enjoy my solitary time, even if I miss my little girl like crazy (miss the spouse, too, but his daily presence has not been as, well, present as hers ;)). So, Five Things That Made Me Happy Today:
1. Slept in very, very late, almost to the point that I would have no longer wanted to stay in bed. Don't remember the last time I did that.
2. My car has four new tires. It's a very boring thing to spend that much money on, but I got a good deal, with free roadside assistance for the life of the tire, a rebate already figured into the price, and peace of mind I haven't had for a while. Now if I could just get the inside cleaned up, I'd be a happy driver. (Sam's Club, if you're ever needing a rec. Thanks to

korafox for the suggestion.)
3. Getting a book with older Baby Blues comment for $.01 plus about three bucks shipping. It arrived today, and I will be reading it as soon as I finish this post.
4. Finishing the first Miss Fisher book. I believe I shall start the second tonight.
5. The prospect of strawberry cream cake in my fridge. Cake is not my usual dessert of choice, but I love this one.
Bonus: Getting to talk to my small fanperson while waiting on the tires. She's having such a good time, and being spoiled rotten (and what else is a trip to one's grandparents for?)
