Midspring Meanderings
I took a nice long walk around my gardens today. I was inspecting all the new spring growth and repairing the damage of winter. Tomorrow, I think I shall take Liber & Libera out of thier cages and we will wander around the neighborhood, doing the same. This place sure could use a nice refreshing touch from Mother Nature to spruce things up. Now that kore_dotcom has returned from the Underworld, I'm feeling up to keeping my duties. I'm sure Allah_Sulu would enjoy an extra few leaves on his plants, too. :)
Why do I keep doing favors for the other gods around here? They give me nothing. Hekate, Ninkasi, & Ki were the only goddesses that I could actually deal with. It seems all the rest have this greedy, conceited, "take, take, take - me, me, me!" attitude. Those little brats need a slap on the face. Kasi, Hekate, & Ki are sweethearts that can still dish out a good helping of whoop-ass when needed. None of the other goddesses, and certainly none of the gods, have made the list as favorites. Well, with exception for Oshun, as well. She has the Earth-Mother sense within her, too. I'll make special note to avoid them. Then again, there are a few new hopefuls. I'll make special note to run into them. Good thing healing plants and bringing forth new life from the earth brings me such peace and pleasure - it's a great excuse to get some gossip and spy on sexy Greek gods ;)
