I'm finally done! I cooked & cleaned up after TWO meals AND traveled to the state of Georgia and back to Olympus on a full stomache.

I had a dinner here in my temple for my houseboys and guests earlier in the afternoon, then I prepared dinner for my friends in Georgia. Everything went well as expected. For my friends in Georgia, I prepared a turkey.. It's customary for the mortals to indulge in turkey on this day so I made one for them.. I just don't understand, the holiday celebrates the harvested crop *raises eyebrow* I don't bless farm animals!

Anyways, I discovered the game of "football" and that turkey has a mesmerizing effect on mortals that makes them sleep for hours after consumption. Hekate, did you know this? This could come in handy later! *smirks and goes on*

I made some pumpkim sice bread that Muse likes so much. She ate so much food, I'm surprised she's not sick! We had baked carrots glazed with brown sugar and butter, warm wheat rolls, lots of roasted corn on the cob (of course *winks*), stuffing, wild rice, mashed potatos, baked squash with butter and cinnamon, apple-butter for the rolls & cornbread, and of course pumpkin pie! Everyone ate so well and the house smelled wonderful! *smiles, very happy with the outcome of the day* I have plenty of leftovers.. I wonder if any of my fellow deities would care for some? Hmm..

*fumbles to remove oven mits, strips off apron that someone became stained with turkey juice, and plops down in a chair at the kitchen table to rest*

Oh I almost forgot! I have a few spare parts of turkey that the mortals refused to eat *shrugs* I don't get it, they seem like perfectly fine parts to me *holds up a bowl containing the turkey neck, gizzard, and gibblettes* Who wants some?
