Today was interesting. On my way home from school the car in front of me died in the middle of the road. It was rush hour so most people were ready to go home and were getting pissed. I waited a few minutes and when I saw that nothing was happening I got out of my car to see if she was ok. I let her borrow my phone to call for help and put my emergency flashers on and signaled for the cars behind me to go around. I went back to her car and tried to calm her down (she was from out of state and stressed). An ambulance came by and asked if we needed help, I told them to call the police to help her. Then I asked her to slip her car into neutral and I pushed her car off to the side of the road so she wasn't blocking traffic and people wouldn't be as mad at her. This whole time no one stopped to help us; it was just me, a 18year old college student, and her. A man even had the nerve to yell at us about blocking the road. I couldn't believe that there were that many selfish people out there. I hope she's alright now.
