[The feed clicks on and there's a few fragments around Tails, and he has a strange device in his hand. It's a scanner and he's been having the time of his life. How do you feel, exactly, Tails-san?

Alternate Realities? I know about them. Back home, Demons, like myself, have the ability to travel between worlds... between Different realities. That's where we found Master and the Mistress and I hid while the revolution was happening.

Why does Tails-san ask? Do you believe these are alternative realities we are witnessing?

[That could explain how e married TWO of his mistresses in the memories]

Tired and really, really confused.

[Though to be fair- he isn't tired because of the fragments.]

I do actually. The theory goes that there are thousands, maybe millions of alternate realities based on the idea that a single choice made differently can alter an entire timeline. Even the smallest choices.

I think these things are windows, a way to peek into not just other worlds, but timelines too. It's the only explanation for why things are so different in the world I've been seeing.

If these are truely alternative Realities then they have been done and do exist somewhere...

We could be in those memories if we.... made different choices...

No. The Safe House is too...big. It's like trying to sleep in my hangar.

[He pauses a moment and looks down.]

That's one theory...but yeah, that's how it would go. There's another one though. Where the entire universe is just a copy of another one, but with changes. Not through choice but, simply because that's how that world is supposed to be.

I wonder if maybe there's another way to look at this. Instead of reality being linear...it's circular.

But that would mean that there would be an origin...or a world from where all the others originated.
