It’s dark and the lights are off, but Mohinder is still awake when Sylar eases his door open and steps into the room. He can tell, because Mohinder’s body stirs under the sheets and Mohinder’s eyes just barely glint in the moonlight shining from outside the hotel window.

I think this is one of the best Mylar fics out there.

The disconnect Sylar's feeling here is so incredibly interesting and well-written.If actions define the man, then right now, as Sylar strokes along the underside of Mohinder’s jaw, coaxes him to open to Sylar’s invasion - right now, he’s Zane Taylor, gentle and intent and kind.

But inside, he’s not Zane Taylor.
The last part totally gives me chills.

I've seen a lot of Sylar comparing people and such to clock pieces, but not as integrated into his psyche as you make it here. He thinks he can make Mohinder even more beautiful than this, even more beautiful than dozens, hundreds of parts and functions, interlocking inside a human being. He thinks he can make Mohinder shatter and come together at the same time, and he thinks he can feel it from the inside when it happens.

Very hot! Any chance for a sequel since Sylar worked so hard to make Mohinder come to him the next time around? Also, have you considered posting this to mylar_fic or if you have, updating

Thank you so much! That's a really nice thing to hear.

The major point of Sylar's character, in the show, is how he thinks of everything as machines...and I tried not to make it too heavy-handed or anything. (And basically everything about Sylar gives me chills...)

I was originally going to write a sequel, but I was distracted :P Though, there probably will be more Mohinder/Sylar from me. And I had posted it to mylar_fic, but I hadn't updated the link. It's fixed now :)

Tracked this gem down through tags. Ye Gods! I adore the way you write Sylar/Mohinder. You seem to have the same penchant for a couple key phrases that I do with these two "Trust me" and "What do you want from me?" The second one isn't in this fic, but I caught it in another and it gave me evil smiles.

The trust issue is just fascinating though. As the omniscient audience we know Mohinder shouldn't trust Sylar/Zane, and yet some how he can. It's twisted and beautiful. I can't wait to read more from you.

Trust seems to be a very big issue between those two. Mohinder is really the only one Sylar was close to during any of the show, and Zane seemed fairly important to Mohinder too. Mohinder let him come along on their trips, after all...
