i'm being internally mauled by allergies. supposedly the pollen count is particularly high this season because of the winter that ate up spring in chicago. normally different varieties of plants release their pollen at different times, thus diffusing pollen concentration. unfortunately, because the weather changed recently and suddenly from being pretty darn cold to spring-like, all the plants are releasing their pollen simultaneously. suffice to say i've morphed into a human faucet.

oh off topic, i recommend giving elephant by the white stripes a listen. i played the cd continuously in my car this past week and i quite love it. musically innovative and humorous.
