IN OTHER EXCITING NEWS, WOMEN'S CURLING IS ON TV. Mom and dad used to get sarcastically excited about it when I was a wee lad and since I was too young to understand sarcasm I guess I just wanted to join the fun and ever since I've been really into it.
My precalc teacher calls students if they get an A on tests. She just called me today THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER ASKDLF;.
I've been playing Mass Effect under Riannon's suggestion (i.e. command). I am horribly bad at playing because I am on old man gamer and don't understand all these buttons but the characters and story seem quite neato. This one finds it quite addictive to speak like the hanar do. It especially enjoys doing so around those who don't understand the reference.
There is talk of a Mass Effect cosplay happening at Otakon. More on this story as it develops.
And finally: I have a double date tomorrow! It's very exciting, I've always wondered how these things worked. Luckily we're all bros so it shouldn't be at all awkward. Other than, y'know, the usual awkwardness than happens whenever I enter a social situation that doesn't involve picking up the ladies, which as we all know I am incredibly suave at.
