Quick update... school is done, need to go sleding some more, going to snipe me a christmas tree tonight, christmas is coming and im broke, going to tn for a christmas present from dug, on the 28th and not coming back till the 3rd,and on the 15th i went and saw trans siberian orchestra.... read my babblings...
I have found a new tradition for christmas... no matter where i am or what i am doing... my mom and i are going to go see the trans siberian orchestra. That show was amazing! The light show alone was great. They really got the audience involved and they had a meet and autograph signing after the show. they all had outragous energy. I havent ever been to a metal concert or anything but its was just weird how they were playing all these classical music with metal guitars and headbanging. but thats what makes them unique and awsome.
So the show started around 7:45 and they did a story with the christmas songs and narrator like they do on their cds. Then when that was over one of the guitar players came out and talked to the audience about the band and then introduced it and just as we thought it was all over, he goes.." you ready for some more??" and they proceeded to come back on and play a Led Zepplin song. and durring that time, the drummer had a spasm for about 3 minutes.
The lights were amazing... they had racks that were the length of the stage.. there was a stable rack in the front and then 6 other racks behind it that was split in half and had about 20 or more lights on it each and they moved up down and diagonally.. then there were a bunch on and round the stage. those plus the lazer lights plus....
pyrotechnics!!! red flames and other colored flames, sparklers and fire ball things. They also had a sheet behind the band of bunches of little lights that made it look like glittery snow.
oh and the electric violinist .... greatness! especially with a glowing violin =)
that is all
