P.S.

This awesome thing happened just now, between my Aunt Mary and I:

Mary: How'd the move go?
Me: Pretty well. We got some football players to carry the fridge up.
Mary: Were they cute?
Me: I didn't really see them. But my building RA is reeeeally attractive.
Mary: Boy or girl?
Me: Boy.

I don't know if you got the import of that little, totally casual conversation, but allow me to translate: Mary and I have never talked about being bi. I've never officially come out to her, or my grandparents, or my mom's brother and his family. And yet, without missing a beat or making it weird at all, she simply asked if the RA was a guy or a girl and went on with the conversation. That was beautiful. That is what everyone needs to be like.

family, queerness, awesomeness
