Ah, bless them. <3 In spite of what triggered Vincent, I'm glad it served to bring them together again. Tseng and the others aren't going to be happy about not being allowed in or near) so that is also something prompting uneasiness for me.
Very interesting glimpse into Vin's past- can't help but wonder where that will lead and how its all connected. Layers and layers...and what a lovely 'onion' it is!

Layers indeed! ^.^; I'm re-reading this thing and realizing that there's so much going on! Add to that trying to remember how we're going to pull it all together is making for some serious nerves! Once we get everything we have written posted, we'll have to write more to end it! Aaahh! XD

Poor Vincent - even if hospital he was treated like guinea pig by people who should help him - fortunately the only decent doctor was Dr. Bugenhagen - wise enough to let Cid be at Vincen't side and give him reason to come back from his catatonia
I and think that in the presence if Cid Vincent is cute as a bunny :P
