My roommate is leaving on Monday. I shall have a nice single-esque dorm again, woo! I'm crossing my fingers that it'll be more permanent this time.
Also, I'm buying her cell phone from her since she won't need an American one anymore when she goes back to Spain. Yes that's right, I'm Finally gonna have a cell phone! :D
There's bad news with people leaving college too, though. It sounds like my brother has had it with UVic and is probably coming home in about a week. It's not for sure yet -- I really hope he changes his mind and proves everybody wrong about his capabilities -- but it sounds pretty bad.
On a completely different note, I want to start soon on putting together a big thank-you package for the Yamazaki family for taking me in and doing so much for me this summer. I plan to send it in time for Christmas even though they don't really celebrate it. I've got a few ideas of what to include, like Skittles for Haruka since she loved them so much, but does anyone have any suggestions of things to send to Japan that would be special from America/Alabama/Mobile?
