I've read an article about that and I find that claim very odd. The dates signs are based on come from astronomical observation. The sun is lined up with your sign's constellation when you're born. The dates aren't static... the sun will move into a sign on a different day a different year. It's predictable, but not set in stone for the last 2000 years. So how can that be the case? Whether or not you have certain personality traits based on that constellation is very debateable... but claiming that it's wrong like that to me just shows that the astronomers who came up with it really don't know how astrology works. Also, I wonder... what do these scientists have to say about all the other aspects of a birth chart? If the sun signs are off by a month, acsendants must be even worse! And moon signs, and all the planets... The positions of these signs are based on observation. -_-
I'm not arguing for or against astrology right now, but come on, just making a cheep stab like that to discredit it isn't very scientific...
