One more thing I should post with today: pictures of Japan have been scanned! I put them up on MySpace, but not Livejournal yet. Shame on me.
This is me and Haruka in front of Matsumoto castle, about an hour away from Ueda.
This was taken on thr second to last day I was there, when Yamazaki-san took me to see all the temples and other landmarks in the area. I think it's one of the most beautiful pictures of the entire trip...

Me in front of Mount Shirane... the colour of the pool in the volcano's mouth did not come out right! It was so incredible, light aqua-ish... but no pictures I've seen do it justice. Oh well, you'll all just have to go see it yourselves!!
I saw four different pagoda towers but this one I think was the most amazing. See little old me in the white and red kimono?
The mountains in Nagano prefecture were Amazing. <3
