Well for one gillian, I guess I did not realize how big your win against west essex was.
Here I am reading a column about football online because I'm bored, and guess what I see smack dab in the middle of it:
10. I think these are my non-NFL thoughts of the week:
a. College football lengthens games arduously by stopping the clock for every first down. Idiotic.
b. Dr. House, you're slaying me. "Cleanup on aisle three!'' I've seen the House ad 64 times during the baseball playoffs and each time it's funnier than the previous.
c. A proud shout-out to the Montclair High field hockey team, which beat arch-rival West Essex, third-ranked in New Jersey, Sunday at West Essex in overtime to win the Essex County Field Hockey Tournament title. It's MHS' first win over its county rival since 1989. Hero of the Day: Allison Andre, who scored on a breakaway. Little Alison, the two-year star of our old rec-league softball team back in a previous life. We're proud of you, Ali.
d. Coffeenerdness: I have one tip for the coffee merchants of Athens, Ohio: make it stronger.
e. Stancealikes: Morgan Ensberg, Tony Batista (wherever he is).
f. That Joe Crede's really good.
I was flipping out, so weird.
Although I think the guy who wrote it lives in mtc or near it, his name is Peter King.
Anyway, crazy how things come back to slap some sense into you.
