Seriously, though, it's about the federal government trying to screen for illegal immigrants during hurricane evacuations in the Rio Grande Valley. Texas is fighting it. Emergency management is appalled. Scared people will choose not to evacuate, and we'll end up with another Katrina-like disaster, people stuck on their roofs or dead in their homes, if this law is not repealed. I encourage you to check it out, especially if you live in a border state, and speak up about it.
