Halloween passed without incident, for which I am extremely thankful. I can now only hope the same for the spring racing season, which is due to return to whichever nether dimension from whence it spawned some time this Saturday. My cousin went to Oakes day, and I saw someone I used to go to school with, absolutely sodden drunk on a train. So public transport will be frock-free again next week. Hurrah.
