ISTEP
So my new conclusion is...no wonder students find it hard to pass the ISTEP, it's so boring! I've been giving the test to 4th graders this week and you should see the way they just sit there and stare sometimes. I mean you try and encourage, but sometimes I think they are so zoned out that it doesn't help. I was reading through some of the writing and you can definately tell that Anderson Elementary is the GHETTO! Their writing is like they are on the streets...very interesting to say the least. I'm actually getting cable and the internet in my ghetto apartment...so exciting! I've been waiting all summer for this, Sarah and Tashae as my witnesses...:) The Carnival is going well, although some people are just flat out mean. Oh yeah, the most thefts we have are from the A.U. kids, in fact we had a kid steal shoes last night from college. Now how would Sandi Patti feel about that? LOL On a sad note, my grandpa's mom is in the hospital, she is going to have to go into a nursing home, which he is not to happy about, but she will be better off. Her birthday is tomorrow, she will be 88 years old! Hopefully she will be back from Indy to celebrate. Lizzie's bachlorette party is this Saturday, so weird to be going to these things for people who just graduated...guess were all grown up now! Her and Mo are getting married on the 14th of October. I think they didn't want any football players at their wedding, that's why they made it on homecoming! Ok well time to get back to watching ISTEP!
