Hey!
So here I am - a summer in Ohio.
I finished my run of HAIR last sunday - it was such an amazing experience. I met some really really talented folks and i got naked onstage in front of over 4000 people. I guess now i can check that off my list of things to do before i'm 30.
Ragtime opens in 3 days. Insanity. I got here last Monday and we've been rehearsing only 2 weeks. Not even. The show is going to be amazing though. The cast is really fierce and our Sarah was on Broadway in In My Life last year. She's been really awesome to work with.
I'm learning a lot about my vocal technique during this show. Its very different from HAIR. I guess i learned how to belt my face off in HAIR 8 days a week - and now I'm learning how to mix and match my legit voice with my belt with ragtime. Its been a really cool learning experience.
We start rehearsal for Songs for a New World on saturday. That should be a trip. Im REALLY excited to start working on the music for songs. Its a small nit cast but everyone is sooooooooo good. And our pianist is amazzzzing.
Dahr and I are moving in together in august with Johnnie. I really don't think New York is even ready for that. lol.
Hmmmm well i guess thats all. I have to go get ready for Ragtime tech so i'll chat later!
