Stiffed - Waco
I just got done with the Waco chapter in Stiffed, and I don't get it.
I don't understand how all these men became obsessed with the event, using it as a rallying call for their own private paranoias. And I see another man trying to capture fame, and being ruined by it. Seems to be a recurring theme.
But really, I don't get it. These are people these men do not know, who likely weren't killed for the reasons these men believe, being used... and for what? It just seems utterly insane.
