I'll start:
Lina Inverse (Slayers): Because she's the motherfucking Lina Inverse. Here is a song where she sings about how awesome she is because she's that awesome.
Delenn (Babylon 5): Yeah whatever okay. She is Delenn and you'd better watch out- she's gonna grab her freaking destiny by the horns and then peaceably come to a reasonable accord with it because she is The One Who Is and she'll give up her life in the dark, where no one can see and she'll stand in the Starfire Wheel and die just to prove that you're a stupid and your war is stupid. And then she'll reform your government and take all the power away from the church and the military DAMN.
Princess Sally (Sonic: SATAM): You know what? I don't even care that she almost single-handedly helped launch the creepiest sect of furry fandom. The lady led the fight against a mad dictator during years of desperate guerrilla warfare and succeeded. It's like she was Che Guevara except not a terrible person.
Toph (Avatar: The Last Airbender): To be fair, all the ladies on this show are incredible, but Toph is just my favourite because I was kind of totally her when I was twelve years old. Except for the magic earth powers thing but ehhh, y'know.
Kira Nerys (Deep Space Nine): So I saw this interview with Nana Visitor way back when DS9 was new and she was all like: "I love this character because she is flawed in a way usually only men are allowed to be on TV." and that pretty much sums it up. amg Kira ♥
