My questions and answers:
- If you were a wandering minstrel, what songs would you play/sing? I suppose I would have to sing some Flogging Molly songs because they just sound like they were songs written by Irish wondering minstrels. But besides that, I would have to write my own songs and come up with my own style to rock the socks off of knights and (more importantly) beautiful maidens. Come to think of it...all the stories that we have been told are romanticized stories of knights rescuing damsels in distress and stuff like that. Why not have a story about a punk minstrel (who for the sake of the story, is named 'Bob') who play concerts for the local peasants and at the end of the story gets the girl... That's my kind of story. They could even make it into a movie and I could play the part of Bob!! =)
- What's your favorite RK [relient K] song and why? That's such an unfair question because they are all so good. I think I have a new favorite every time I listen to their new CD "mmhmm," but I think at the moment, it would have to be "I So Hate Consequences" because that song is the perfect mix of every style of music I love so much. Punk/Emo/Alternative Rock...everything. The perfect mix. I can't help but smile every time I hear them scream that one word in the song--I think it adds so much to the song as a whole. It's just a great song.
- You day isn’t complete without...... That would have to be either a Propel water or a Jones Soda. It doesn't matter which one, but I need one of them in order to feel like I accomplished anything during the day. Stupid, I know...but it's an addition!
- What does your lj username mean? That's easy! It's like on a test having to answer the question at the top of the page that says "Name:" I always get excited because I actually know that answer!! Anyway, I'm a huge fan of star gazing and I love the constellations. One of the constellations is named Cepheus after the king of Ethiopia in Greek mythology (he was married to Cassiopeia and their daughter was Andromeda). As legend has it, Cassiopeia and Andromeda bragged about how they were more beautiful than anyone and the sea god Poseidon got angry. He forced Cassiopeia to live forever in the sky upside down for her arrogance, or so the myth goes. I just always thought it was so neat that Cepheus got to "live forever" with his wife in the stars while future couples continue to stare up at them. And the second part of my username '1024' is my birthday: October 24th.
- Name your top 5 movies of all time. Wow...another tough one. I'm going to have to go with the Matrix trilogy (that counts as one movie, right?) because those are probably the most creative, original and well done movies of all time. Monty Python and the Holy Grail has to make it on the list too, because it is one of the most quotable movies I've ever seen. I think the X-Files movie is another great one because it's really something when such a great series breaks through from the small screen to the big screen with such finesse that the X-Files did. Secret Window is another favorite. And to finish it off, Fight Club because, like the Matrix you had no idea what was going on until the end; and even then you went back to rewatch it to see all the stuff you missed.
