belated happy new year!
i've been either away from internets or too lazy to post for a while, so to start.... here's a brief obligatory holiday recap:
george and i went to florida to visit my family, it was great to see them and we had a great time... my sister made me a gorgeous cameo choker (which y'all can oogle at xmortis futurepast)... i also got a posessed jewelry box and my very own viper (the battlestar gallactica kind, not the snake)... we ate at all my fav restaurants, checked out the beach, tried to have a tiki party, and met up with a boston friend at a nightclub where i saw a $500 painting i want sooooooo hard... i loves my family but by the end of the week, i was completely ready to come home, sleep in my own bed, and snuggle my kitties... it was weird to be "home" in florida but miss my home in massachusetts so much!..
on to new years related ramblings!
i have spent my life hating new years.... i don't do resolutions, everything always seems to go wrong the night of new years eve, and i just never have a very good time or feel like i'm getting a fresh start... however, the past few years have created some like of new years... and last night was awesome! not only was it new years eve, but it was the first time i got to see most of my most beloved massachusettians in weeks! for me, it was i love you man oclock right from the start... this year i'm feeling the fresh start thing... i'm setting some goals for the new year, so i guess that means i'm making resolutions...
1) stop acting like a fatass... this isn't about the number on the scale i don't own... it's about me eating too much crappy food, not excercising in the least, and generally acting like a fatass - and the fact that that needs to change or i really will become a fatass...
2) stop wasting time with that idiot box (aka the television)... srsly... i waste soooo much time... it's horrible... and there are so many things i know i would rather do than watch reruns of family guy....
