The Curse of the Birthday
Let's recap my last 4 birthdays, shall we? Then I will make my prediction for this year.
16th: snow day. Didn't get to see any of my friends because I wasn't allowed to leave the house. It was "too dangerous". All the cookies I made the night before went to waste. I had to spend my whole day doing chores with my brother, Steve, and we faught the whole time. I also didn't get my liscence. I got a sundress from my mom, but wasn't allowed to wear it because it was "too short".
17th: had a birthday party. Only Marc showed up. Fun times.
18th: dropped my cell phone in the toilet, had to buy a new one.
19th: my roomates (and best friends at the time) went on a trip without me to one of their houses and didn't invite me or even tell me about it. I decided shortly after my birthday that I didn't want to live there anymore and moved out.
Predictions for 20th: once again, lose my friends. No one at CMU will remember it's my birthday and I will merely go to class. I will turn 20 in style<--- dripping in sarcasm.
