Hey guys!
Where are all of you? Are your grown-up lives so busy that you can't post stuff to keep me entertained. :) It is Friday, the campus is emptying out for break, and I am stuck at my desk.
I am REALLY bored. It has been an exceptionally slow day. We had some students come visit (but none were mine). Tim and Miss Elaine are both out sick, Miss Janet just left for vacation, and Mickey is out with his new son.
That was the one highlight of the day. We went up to the hospital at lunch and met Brady. He is so freaking cute!!! which is kind of weird for me to say about a new-born because I think babies aren't very cute until they are about 2 weeks old... before that, they are kind of red-faced and squished. But Brady is a gorgeous baby. He's very tiny and quiet. I think he made one little sound the whole time we were there. It doesn't make me want one of my own, but it does make me wish my sisters would get married and have some that I could play with. :)
Not much else is new in my life... Mardi Gras season is almost over, and I haven't done anything to celebrate it, which makes me sad. I love going to the parades (but not for the parade itself... moreso for the people) and eating King Cake and wearing a ridiculous number of colorful plastic beads. But haven't done any of that this year. Maybe I will go to the Highland Parade on Sunday, just so I've done something.
I read through my Paris journal (the one we had to write while on Module) and realized 2 things. First, I wrote down EVERYTHING... I mean, what I ate each day, when we woke up and went to bed, things we did... everything. And secondly, it made me kind of sad that I didn't write down everything I did in Italy with Kim. I think I am going to keep a travel journal everytime I go on a trip. It was fun to look back at it. Especially because I didn't edit my entries... I wrote about the arguments my roommates had and about finding Hendricks in front of our hotel drunk (even though he was going to read my journal). I can't wait until I get to go somewhere else.
Greg and I are thinking about going to Belize this summer for a few days. It depends on how much it will cost, I guess. We're going to definitely go somewhere... just not sure where yet. :)
I guess that is it for now. This killed about 15 minutes of my day... only 52 minutes to go.
