It's a little hard to explain, but it's related to my weapon, primarily. It's also taken years of training, of course, as well.

I can, to an extent, yes. Well... if I synthesized a weapon or armor with that property, anyway, or something along those lines.

I think a little, I know I've read some books about alchemy, but it seemed a bit more like science.

Elements, and formulas a lot. They varied depending, some where more about mixing chemicals and different elements to get a result, while others were more about formulas and magical computations.
