(no subject)
so, i kno i never update this thing anymore, but since i can't sleep and have nothing to do before call for COE at 12, I thought I might as well.... anyway, last nite was opening of Children of Eden, and it actually went surprisingly well. the energy was just so high and even the numbers that used to suck (*cough cough generations cough cough*) were really good. im so happy that the show finally came together!!! and u kno what that means?? all of u must come see the show!!!! its today at 2pm and 7:30 pm and tomorrow at 2pm. you can go to www.musicaltheatercenter.org for more info on how to get tickets and stuff, cuz if u don't u really are missing out.
everyone keeps asking me if im sad cuz its my last show with mtc, and strangely i don't really feel like i am. maybe it's just not hitting me yet... i just feel like gala was enough closure, as i thought that would be my last show. also, it just hasn't really hit me that we seniors are really going off to college. it just doesn't process. some ppl are already leaving monday tho, and that is just crazy. i don't think any of this will hit me till i actually start seeing ppl leave, cuz for me personally college still seems a ways away, since i don't move in till sept. 13. but even tho it hasn't quite hit me yet, i still am and will be sad to leave all of my friends here. you have all been sooooo great over the years, whether i was here, in israel, or somewhere in between.
To my fellow seniors: i love you all and wish u all the best of luck, even tho i'm sure u won't need it!! i kno u'll all have amazing times, and just promise that we'll all chill on breaks and stuff.
To those still stuck in high school: i'll miss u guys!! come visit northwestern!! enjoy ur time while u can - it really goes by so quickly!! and a big hahaha cuz ur still in high school, lol.
