The show will be done... tomorrow
Come see Annie, jr. at Oakmont today at 7 and tomorrow at 2. It's pretty much the best show ever.
I've decided that I'm going to continue at Overlook in the fall for drama, since I'd feel pretty bad for the kids. My schedule is going to end up being pretty hectic with teaching, correcting, planning, Lunenburg's musical, running the Oakmont interclass plays, doing Overlook drama, and teaching my high school acting course at the Mount. But that's okay, I'm going to attempt not to complain, because it lets me do what I love.
Hopefully the Seussical, jr. rights will be out by next fall, because that's at the top of my list for Overlook. A fun show, not too complex, and full of energy. If I have enough theatre kids at Monty Tech, I'm going to try for Little Shop I think. And then Lunenburg is most likely doing Anything Goes, in which I have to teach LHS how to tap dance. It's going to be quite the challenge, but my resume is going to be a mile long after I'm done!
Not to mention, it's wedding planning season! So my mom and I started the infernal hunt for my wedding dress this week. I'm a big fan of Alfred Angelo, and as an added bonus, they're pretty inexpensive in the realm of wedding dresses!! Both of my top 2 dresses are like $600, not bad at all! And the bridesmaid dress that I picked out is $150, also pretty inexpensive as far as weddings go. So now I just need to try some things on and see if I like what they look like on me, versus online, or on the mannequin.

In case it wasn't apparent yet, my colors are blue and purple. Dude, who would have guessed?
