So with the end of my time at the Meadow fast approaching, I've realized that I would really, really like a corset (preferably my trusty off-white cotton one) as it is weirdly comfortable. I have many options which include a) begging Stina to make me one (probably more than I can afford), b) stealing mine and not returning any more calls from anyone at the BMP (probably a bad plan for future references) or c) buying one vintage. Despite the fact that my natural waist is considered "large" by most corset standards at 28", I could probably find one vintage. Most of the dress patterns I've seen from 19th century sized for 17-35" waists. I fall in that range, and, by extension, I could find a corset to fit. Again, this could be expensive. If Stina made one, it would be custom fitted, which is also a plus. What to do?
