A couple of my coworkers were sitting around yesterday talking about the advantages and disadvantages of Windows and Linux. Here's how the conversation went (or something close too it at least):
Paul: Compared to Windows, Linux is really stable.
James: True, but Windows has the product support and more features.
Paul: Linux is free.
James: Yeah, well, so is Herpes.
It couldn't stop there of course. We came up with several other similarities between Linux and Herpes. Here are the best: (Apologies to all those Linux supporters out there. Windows gets far more crap in general. Just trying to level the playing field :)
-Linux is free, Herpes is free.
-Both are considered viral by significant portions of the population.
-Both limit your social life.
-Both Linux and Herpes belong to a short list of things that Microsoft executives truly fear.
-Linux: Open Source, Herpes: Open Sores
