How will you die?

Not to be morbid, but I was looking at the National Safely Council's website about odds of dying in various ways (theduce2 sent out this article about the odds of being sued because of using P2P to download music or other things, and comparing it to the odds of different ways of dying, so I got curious). The odds of dying by 'External Causes of Mortality' (ie, not sickness/disease) are higher than I expected, only 1:1755. Though this does include deaths that compete for the Darwin awards, so for most of us the odds are much lower.

Getting more specific, here are some of my personal favorites (includes odds and deaths in the US in 2002):

Ignition or melting of nightwear, 1:22.1 million (509 deaths)
Contact with hot tap-water, 1:7.2 million (40 deaths)
Accidental suffocation and strangulation in bed, 1:565,700 (13 deaths)
Contact with sharp objects, 1:2.7 million (105 deaths)

Ignition or melting of nightwear?? This actually happens? And more frequently than accidentally getting stabbed... (being intentionally stabbed has it's own category).
