Windy day
I don't know why it's windy today; it's clear and there's no storm fronts. It's done this twice this year. We don't often get much wind, which is actually kinda unhealthy for the trees - they need a good dusting.
This morning, however, gave us a hailstorm of loose leaves and pine cones. Showers of them came out of the trees, sounding like rain. It's still pelting us occasionally with gusts, but not the sheer showers we had earlier when the wind started. The wind is high, yes, but not high enough to knock down live trees, it's just gusty.
Seems almost hazardous to be outside! The wind should help dry my laundry on the line, though. I hope I can get up on the roof and clean out the gutters again before the next rainfall.
