Short Report
Yoga class was ok-- only 2 women showed and requested a totally different routine than the one I'd planned. Opened the book and just went with it. Maybe it wasn't the best ever but... I didn't break anyone, so I guess it'll do for now.
Preparing to head out to New Orleans on Sunday morning, so laundry is going and tomorrow will be packing. Last year after Heroes premiered and showed Nicki walking through the casino in that great cream wrap dress, I looked everywhere for one to wear to the reception then. It was after all in Vegas. Sadly, they weren't all that available, and hers was designed by the show's costumer. This year, there are plenty, and I found a rust-colored one half off.
I needed a nice long necklace to drape over it and ordered a pretty one with carnelian, jasper, and quartz. Getting it was a bit of a fiasco, since it was mailed to my parents' house (it was from our vendor and they take all shipments there), but more on that later. Anyway, at least the outfit is complete.
My least favorite part of business trips: Taxis. Not because I hate taxis, but because they only take cash. Cash that can't be put on the business card. Cash that won't be repaid for weeks and weeks.
Guess what I'll be visiting tomorrow... An ATM.
