of seals onto shores
of torn shark flesh

fresh waves of air carry
your hair into eyes
try to clench teeth but
gritty it applies a
touch of cutting
into an off-putting
beauty

thats how the
punch holes
are born

putting our bodies where
the devil goes to quench
wave thirsts of
erosion sometimes spilled into
poison
barrels of stench
the plastic pellets
find their way into our blood
filled eyes
as clouds make moving
pictures

another standing layered
seeing thing
eventually corroded away
sometimes by mist
other times
walls of water fists

walking at our feet
shoulders hunched to
the bite of the feeling
never seeing
and
left to fall apart
