The Girl On The Train

So yesterday when I get on the train, this girl (woman?) follows me and sits down right next to me, in an otherwise empty car, on a three-seater. This strikes me as a little bit odd, but I keep doing my freelance surveys and attempt to look professional while curled up in a pretzel shape on the chair. She reads InStyle ( Read more... )

whatever you end up doing, make sure you write about it up here. this is really funny.

i can't believe your parents let you go to the city alone but don't let you ride in cars with your friends...

I will most certainly write about it whatever I do. now I think I *want* to see her again. it's very intriguing.

me neither. my parents let me walk around the city on my own, but they don't let me get a ride from HHS to our house.

I love you too. and I'm not sure about Saturday, because I forgot it's my dad's birthday. I'll have to find out what his plans are and what the timing would be. if not, maybe we could do it next saturday, unless that's too close to midterms...

Yet another person whose parent's, more specifically father's, birthday is the 10th of January.

Haha, how cool! I know very few people whose birthdays are in January, but I know two (now three) on the tenth.

My dad's going to be 51.

My birthday's in January! The 5th.

I guess that would be more interesting if we actually knew each other. Oh well.

Well, no, of course I count you! :) But I only know twelve people who have birthdays in January, and eight of them I don't know in real life, and those eight include J.R.R. Tolkien, Elijah Wood, and Orlando Bloom.

Actually I have no idea what point I'm trying to make, except possibly that I'm a huge dork for including those birthdays in my agenda book. Or maybe for keeping an agenda book in the first place. Um.
