My Extraordinary Day
So I woke up at 7am and checked my Email on my laptop before going to class, jumped in my car, and arrived at school.. I pull out my laptop in English to make adjustments to my paper... And it doesn't turn on, at all. Not worried at first, I plug it in the wall and it still doesn't work. I decide to take it to Bestbuy and see if they can work on it, no luck.l They said there is a problem with the power support and there is nothing they can do. My only problem right now is all my papers and study material for my exams are on the laptop and I can't get them out. So I leave Bestbuy and head to tech advance to get a cable to get the material from my dead laptops' hard drive. As I'm walking out the door I hear, "Stop!" I turn around a a sonic slush hits the ground and goes all on my jacket and pants, a black guy is fighting to best buy employees off and makes a run for it. Turns out he stole something. He runs straight by me and I stick my foto out to trip him, he trips but just stumbles and he keeps running. He jumps in the back of a Silver Pontiac much like Tasia's and begins to drive off almost hitting a pedestrians. By this time, I had pulled my cell phone out and took a picture of the guy's license plate as he sped off. So I show the best guy dude and he called the police. I go to tech advance and get the part and go home, It cost me $21.95 for the cable. It hooks to my hard drive and your suppose to hook it to the CD rom of another computer and it acts like a 2nd hard drive. As I'm taking everything apart i'm on hold with the HP represenative for my warranty information. The asian lady tells me to take the battery out of my laptop and hold the power key down for exactly 3 minutes. I do so and put the battery back in. Finally it turns on and appears to be working just fine. I then backed up everything on my lap top to a back up CD and as I finish and the CD ejects the lap top dies again. Ahhh.. by this point I'm pissed but atleast I got all of my papers off it. The HP represenative was suppose to come to my huse today between 1-5 to get my laptop but never showed. So i'm nto sure what to do.I finished half of my math final today and have my art final tomorrow! I need sleep.. Take it Easy! RYan
