Puss!
This has been a pretty hard past week. Friday we braved the storm and returned to Katsuo/Travis's home town of Valentine Nebraska for his mother's fiance's funeral. His mom was very torn up and Travis also took it very hard. I was ok until last night and the night before when I just really started thinking about it. I've been a little sick these past few days with a little bit of a temp, ear ache and sore throat, so hopefully that will go away after a while. Last night Travis opened the window in our bedroom and our cat, Puss, escaped. The window didn't have a screen on it and she jumped from our second story window in our apartment. I looked for her this morning and couldn't find her. My friend Tricia also looked for her this afternoon, but it was to no avail. Right now Travis is making posters to put up, and he's going to look for her also. We are hoping that no one has her right now because they might not want to give her up. Just in case, I did file a missing animal report and plan to go there tomorrow to see what they have just in case one of them is her. I really love Puss and don't think Travis will take it well if we don't find her. When they lived in Valentine she would go outside sometimes and when she lived at Breez's house she was also let out every once and a while so we are hoping that she will return to us tonight. Tricia and I are going to comb the area tonight when I get off work at 11pm, and then I plan to go outside again around 3 and around 6 since she was gone before 8am, and didn't leave until at least after 12:30 am. Please pray for us, send reiki energy, good thoughts as she is very important to both of us. This has been a very hard time and we don't want it to get worse.
