New start on LJ!

Oh, it’s been ages!
Hello again, LJ! Hello lovely f-list! Firstly, I must apologize for my complete disappearance. Some of you have seen me lurking in fandom and posting fic. But as for using LJ properly…well, it’s been a couple of years, hasn’t it?
A year or so back, I kind of imploded with LJ, unable to keep up with everything. There were several reasons for this, not least the strain extra typing puts upon my prematurely crumbling muscles. Also, my fandom loyalties shifted somewhat. I really hate negative fan-girling so, not wanting to spoil anybody’s squee, I just kept quiet about my changing tastes. And once I’d been quiet for a bit, the guilt set in. So I cowered in the corner a loooooooooong time.
But I did miss you lot. You are awesome!
The point of this post is that I’d like to try again. As some of you already know, a few months ago I set up a new journal, kayberrisford , so I could blog about RL and writing (although fandom squee hasn’t been entirely excluded.) I still haven’t really got things going there yet, but I will soon. Honest! So, basically, if there is anybody who would like to friend, please do pop over. I’m going to do my best to keep up with everyone better over there and post more regularly myself. Will try and keep an eye on things here too, though.
