Keeping your relatives closer.
My mother moved to MA from NH in January. It was a lot longer in the happening than I wanted.. I was hoping to get her out of there before winter and having her carrying wood and me worrying about getting up to see her every other week during snowstorms... As it happened, the weather held out mostly and we got her out in the nick of time and the pod and all her stuff that she was taking. That was a whole other thing too. The STUFF. But she's pared down more, and we got rid of the pod.. and now here it is spring and she and the 200+ daylillies that she dug up last summer and fall are here with her, a 5 minute drive from my house. PHEW!
Now we just need to make sure she lasts long enough to plant all the flowers and enjoy them.
My uncles' estate is sold and settled and now it's a wait to end it all and get the money distributed to the heirs. I will be very happy when that is all finally done.
I am 'knock on wood' well, needing to lose weight again, and hoping not to get bit by the virus. Glad I work outside, that's all I can say.
The war in Ukraine sucks. FUCK PUTIN. And fuck that the damn Russians onw LJ. I know it's not the poeple exactly.. but until they overthrow this maniac.. its on them. Much like DJT was on us. Is still on us, like a damn turd.
