OMFG, it's Been a YEAR???
Holey SHIT! I just figured I'd check in and see when the last time I was on here was, and figured, it's been months, I know, but A YEAR? Like, almost to the day? WTH happened to me? I know, I know, facebook happened, but still thats nuts.
I have no idea who's still on here to even see this when it goes up, but there you have it.
So the Bruins are playing the last game of the Stanley cup... trailing 2-0 at the moment. Either way, the fans will wreck the town..
I started collecting headlines in the paper for a project a few months after Drump got inaugurated. Everything was SO CRAZY, the headlines, the tweets, I figured I wanted a record of his downfall... Well, over two years later.. the crazy continues adnozium, and he's STILL IN FUCKING OFFICE. And I'm pretty much a year behind on my project. I really wanted to have something to keep track of the crazy shit that's happened, because there has been SO MUCH OF IT, that you forget what came before. I've never seen anything as insane as this Conman lying cheating asshat, and the Republican Senate that keeps him propped up.
But that aside...
I have a horrible cough and phlem this pollen season. I don't have allergies,( or did't) but I am coughing and hacking and feel like someone sandpapered my throat. I have to keep drinking or sucking on mints or candy so I don't start coughing.. which I am about to do right now. The downpours we had yesterday helped.. and more tomorrow I guess. Lets wash this yellow shit away.
This year there were no canker worms on the trees, and no winter moths last fall. Perhaps finally, too late from many of my trees unfortunately, the tide has turned on the bastards and they will be no more? The release of the wasps that kill them seem to have worked. I can only hope.
Now if all the goddamn squirrels will die, as they are stripping the bark on my sugar maples and killing off whole branches. I DON"T FUCKING GET IT! There were tons of acorns this fall, and they STILL ate the shit out of the trees. I cant win. I just cant win.
Himself finally graduated college. YAY! Now he has to find a real job. That's not going so well. At the end of the day, it will probably have been better if we took all the money we spend on the goddamn college and put it in the bank to supplement whatever part time job he ends up getting for the next 10 years. That's the way it seems anyway. It's very frustrating. But the good news is that he has no debt. So there's that.
The wildlife at the cemetery is thriving still. Deer, foxes, hawks and turkeys. And my flowers are growing nicely this year.. the creeping phlox I've been planting over the years is really taking off and looking good. I hope it keeps spreading. I love the color in the spring.
Well, thats enough for now. Maybe I'll try to make this more regular again? Hrm.. I know how that's gone in the past..
