A break in the weather.
Or so I hope. Been waiting all day for the promised storms. The temps have come down quite a bit, but it's still muggy as hell. Lightning, thunder, but no rain. Seems we are missing it. Not a sweeping front... probably that will come by at 3 in the morning and rock me out of bed.
Orange is the New Black. I know Quirkytizzy is watching it. We are on episode 5 I think. It's hysterical. And fun. I LOVE that Netflix is doing such good stuff. It's like the new HBO. Someone said how weird it is that Netflix, a place that just re-shows movies is now making them, or making series.. but really that is exactly what HBO did. They started as a cable movie station, then got into making stuff. And they did a fantastic job. Thank god someone makes good TV still. Network SUCKS.
Speaking of Network shows, I was listening to NPR's On the Media today and the guy was ranting about the IDIOTS at ABC who have hired some woman who's renowned for being an anti-vaccination advocate, even though it's been well documented that the studies and 'science' behind the original report of vaccinations being behind autism have been totally debunked, she's like "oh well'. If I say it's so, it must be... cuz Google says so. Moose mentality.
I know I had something else to comment on, but I'm going to wait for another day. Too tired to do an in depth report. Did see The Way Way Back with hubs tonight. It was fun, and reminiscent of Meatballs or maybe also The Man Without a Face with Mel Gibson. Not a great movie but a fun one. Decent.
