Freeze Frame
I got the frame for my BB painting. It looks quite nice. I'm showing it this weekend along with another painting. It's not high art, but it's fun. I've been working on some watercolors too lately. I need to practice more with those. I did a church from a photo someone posted on FB, and I thought I might do a series of them. I also want to do some more of the cemetery, just need to find the right shots. Cant do it from reality, I tried that, the shadows move too much.
Speaking of moving too much, the model tonight was so fidgety. It was her first time, so I guess we can forgive that, but when you keep changing arm and head and hair, it's really hard to keep the picture going. I was using watercolor tonight too, and that just didn't work out. Last week it did, but this week, not so much.
I had a dream a few days ago where I was watching someone dive off a very high cliff (Hawaii I think) into the water, but they hit the water at too much of an angle. I don't know if they drown in the dream or just got hurt, but I think it was the kind of fall you might see from the top of the Golden Gate bridge. Ouch!
