Shoes on the other foot now
So I sent back my LLbean shoes that were causing welts on my leg after one day, with much disappointment. I included photos of the offending welts, and of my old shoes as compared to the new ones to show the size difference, and a letter with the two model numbers from each shoe, new and old. Well, the folks at LL bean must have researched and found a shoe more like the original (I hope) because they are sending me a different shoe, without my asking. I'm hoping that it's more like the other one. I checked the web site and there are no complaints that I can find about ankle or leg irritation, just some size issues and I've already learned to order a half size up, (which according to the shoe guy at the store is actually a full size up, as I am really and 8 1/2, but a wide, so I've always worn 9s. Now that you know my shoe size, I'm sure that you'll figure out who I really am. lol
Had the funeral today. All went very well. They were spot on time, which in my book makes them early. Quick service, everyone went and we got it all into the hole no problem. Backed the truck up into a bit of a tight spot, more like an awkward spot, and had to hand shovel a bit of the spill off, but nothing we rugged people cant do. Although my poor cousin... I'm going to kill her I think. lol
Then home and lunch and a shower and off to try to help scan year books for the HS reunion. I brought my scanner and computer, but sadly it didn't work out, as the programs on my scanner just weren't cutting it (which was one reason I was dreading this scanning thing, as I scanned two yearbooks before and it was hours and hours in the making.) So we ended up just using one scanner, and Epson, and one computer and it actually went fairly well. Much faster than my system. I'll go back to help again if its that easy. Just don't ask me to run the computer, cause I cant do the mac.
It's pretty freaking chilly here, but the laundry dried. I'm looking forward to sleeping late and then going to breakfast. Then Himself has to get his new 3DS. He's paying for it. We'll see how that works out. I'm a bit unconvinced about the 3D thing, and that it sucks battery life.
Oh and Asshole stopped by the cemetery AGAIN to tell me that 'why gee wiz' those bushes are big, and we aught to just cut them down, and all the other ones too. NO SHIT SHERLOCK! That should be my new nickname for him NSS. Never a word of praise from this ass, always some petty button pushing underhanded insult. If he stops in every day I'm going to have to go to lunch early. Maybe I need to remind him you catch more flies with sugar than with vinegar. Or maybe I should just punch him.. no, he's a lawyer type.
