It rained today. How wonderful! I enjoyed the day taking apart the lawn mower and then going to another cemetery at lunch time to check on some relatives graves, then to the store to get my light switch, then to get a sticker on the truck, then shopping right after work. Oh, it was wonderful! Then I got to make out her check. Two days. And tomorrow it's supposed to rain some more. As she likes to say "she's bummin!"
I got my Red Cross card, and of course they screwed up my middle initials. Made it look like part of my last name. Oh well. Looks like I'm part of the blood bank now. The Red Cross needs my blood money.
I took apart the older two stroke mower. Cleaned the hell out of it, and then when it got all back together, I couldn't even get it to stay running. So frustrating. Finally got it to run, but its still wonky. It seems like the dial (reed?) on the top that changes the speed keeps moving and it will only stay running if its on full blast. I added some slick 50 to it, and I did get it to stay running, but I'm not sure how it will do when it's out working. And with the rain I didn't really take it out to try, just too wet. I'd love to get it going again. I really need it now that the spring that pulls the Sears mower's rip cord seems broken. And that one isn't fixable, it's made like it's disposable. And I'm not sure it's worth trying to get the part. The mower is at least 15 years old. God damn disposable machines.
