All Saints be praised.

Captains log, star date November first. Biv reported for duty today, surprisingly, given her attendance the day before at the Patriots game. Proceeded to tell me all about the game that I have no interest in. Two years and she still hasn't figured out I have no interest in sports.

Last night was relatively quite for a Halloween, as I predicted based on the day falling on a weekend day. And to top it off, some one of the neighbors was having a party, which siphoned the kids off even more. We had 57, about half the normal. It was bitterly cold too, which shouldn't help, but then again, even on really warm nights we don't always get a lot. Totally depends.
My poor smoke machine could not compete with the wind, although I must say I was thrilled that the timer I bought for the old machine works great on this new one, and I was careful to make sure I cleaned the fog machine when I was done, which I had never done to the other one, which was why it stopped working I guess.

The guys are all taken down now and put away. I found a trunk which I used in my display, and I was going to get rid of it when I was done, but realized it will make the perfect storage unit for my body parts. This year I also set up the line that bats are on with fishing swivels, so this year and in the future, I can re-use the same line and just clip the bats in place on the line. Hopefully much easier for next year.

Today at work I tried to get one of the old mowers going, and it did run, but would not stay running. Makes me think it's the carburetor, although I tried to clean one of those before, with little luck. But I might try doing this one, because my other mower has been getting sluggish, and I just broke the pull cord this morning as I was getting ready to go out. I'm hoping to be able to get it back in, but it's a bitch to thread through the hole. And try doing that with Babbles going.

Tomorrow I will be going out to vote first thing before I get to work. Get it out of the way. Cant wait for it to be over.

I thought I had a lot to comment on, and actually I think I did, but as usual I cant think of any of it right now. Sad.

stupidity, sports, work, halloween
